As of today, you only have 27 days left to fill out your 2020 Census form!
Why does the Census matter?
Every ten years, our country relies on the Census to help determine how to spend billions of dollars in public funding. These funds help maintain public services like hospitals, schools, and roads -- but that's not all! We also use the Census to calculate how many Congressional Representatives are allotted to each state.
That's all to say -- an accurate Census is really, really important.
Haven't filled out your Census form yet? That's okay! You have the option to complete the Census by mail, by phone, or online. Just make sure you do it by September 30th.
-------------- Information on how to fill out your Census form ⬇️ --------------
Mail: You likely received a paper questionnaire sometime in mid-March. Included with the questionnaire should be detailed information and a Census ID (you'll need this if you want to complete the Census online). Once completed, you should return your Census questionnaire in the envelope provided. If you've lost the envelope, you can mail your questionnaire to the U.S. Census Bureau National Processing Center at 1201 E 10th Street Jeffersonville, IN 47132. You can find more information on how to respond and return your physical Census form, here.
Thank you,
