Hi there, I wanted to reach out with an update on our campaign's August fundraising goal. We just tallied up all the numbers, and I'm so glad to report we were able to hit our target.

That's because of you. That's because of this grassroots team.

These monthly fundraising goals aren't just tried-and-true tactics we use. Your contribution isn't just a number by a name in a database.

Every grassroots donation we receive to help hit these goals--whether it's $5 or $25 or $100--translates into real momentum in this race. It means we can secure more resources to organize and connect with more voters grow our movement to keep this district blue.

It also means we can continue running this campaign the right way: without taking support from lobbyists, corporate PACs, or executives at Big Oil companies or Wall Street banks.

And that's what it's going to take to win this race: building the strongest grassroots movement possible.
