The richest man in the world spent nearly $300 million in the 2024 presidential election to elect Donald Trump.

Then, he spent more than $20 million to defeat now-elected and JanePAC-endorsed Judge Susan Crawford in Wisconsin’s 2025 Supreme Court race.

Now, Elon Musk has pledged to spend at least $100 million through his super PACs ahead of November — and he’s eyeing races where our endorsed climate champions are fighting to bring principled leadership to long-ignored communities.

This type of spending from an outside group is staggering, but we cannot let billionaires bully us into complacency.

From the moment I founded my Climate PAC, candidates have told me the same thing again and again: early support and consistent support give them the resources they need to take on deep-pocketed spenders — and win.

And that work is happening right now, in “quiet” months like August, when many of us tune out, but when campaigns are hiring organizers, launching TV and radio ads, and making sure voters know what’s at stake.

This is our moment to really dig deep, John.
