SHERIFF ROSIE CORDERO-STUTZ SHARES COMMUNITY SURVEY RESULTS
[5]
The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office is accountable to the public, and
that’s why, for the first time in our agency’s history, we
conducted a countywide survey to hear directly from our
community—not just about what we’re doing well, but where we can
do better.
To me, that’s what transparency is all about. It’s not just
sharing information. It’s listening. It’s welcoming honest
feedback, even when it’s critical, because that’s how we improve,
strengthen our relationship with our community, and become an even
better Sheriff’s Office.

THE LIVE LOCAL ACT: “AFFORDABILITY” AT THE COST OF LOCAL CONTROL
[28]
I’ve been mayor of South Miami for almost four years now. I ran
because I believed local government matters most. We know our
neighbors. We know our streets. We know what kind of city our
residents want to live in. My job is to make sure our voices count
when decisions about what gets built in South Miami are made. I can
no longer guarantee that since the passage of the Live Local Act. I
am not against building housing, particularly affordable housing. I
started my career as a housing advocate and fought for greater
investment by our state while serving in the legislature. South Miami
needs it. And so does every community in Miami-Dade County.

2026 CHEVROLET TAHOE 4WD HIGH COUNTRY IS STILL KING
[31]
The 2026 Chevrolet Tahoe 4WD High Country is not a subtle machine.
Chevrolet’s range-topping full-size SUV wears its ambitions on its
grille, with a signature High Country fascia that announces itself the
way only a vehicle with serious intentions can. You’re not buying
the Tahoe High Country because you’re trying to be like the rest.
You’re buying it because you need three rows, a trailer hitch rated
for serious weight, and the kind of interior...
