The far-left insurgency inside the Democrat Party just scored a major
victory.

Abdul El-Sayed won the Michigan Democratic Senate primary. He beat
establishment candidate Rep. Haley Stevens despite more than $60
million in outside spending against him. Bernie Sanders and AOC were
in his corner. The most radical wing of the Democrat Party showed up
for him and they delivered.

_So who is Abdul El-Sayed?_

→ He has called for defunding the police and abolishing ICE. 

→ He campaigned alongside someone who said America had September
11th coming and refused to disavow those comments. 

He is not just a fringe candidate anymore. He is the official
Democratic nominee for United States Senate in Michigan.

Here is why that matters beyond Michigan.

Democrats need four seats to flip the Senate. Michigan is one of the
seats they are counting on to get there. If El-Sayed wins, the
socialist caucus in Washington grows, Chuck Schumer gets closer to the
gavel, and the radical left gets the signal that this strategy works.

The only thing standing between El-Sayed and a Senate seat is
Trump-backed Republican Mike Rogers.

I won my race by 16,000 votes out of 6.5 million cast. I know better
than most that races like this one are decided in the final stretch by
whoever has the resources to close strong. Mike Rogers needs
reinforcements right now.
