** US case shines new spotlight on abortion coercion
------------------------------------------------------------

Life News reports that the woman discovered she was pregnant in July. According to her complaint, she says she was subjected to an extended period of sexual exploitation and physical violence, and alleges that the man deceived her with false promises of marriage. She further claims that he ultimately forced her to undergo a chemical abortion against her will.

Baby Gabriel, who is being carried by Alaska surrogate McKenna West, was diagnosed at around 20 weeks with hypoplastic left heart syndrome, which leaves the left side of the heart underdeveloped. The condition can be treated with a series of surgeries beginning soon after birth.
