Bolivia and Brazil launched a joint security plan after a wave of killings on their shared border. The violence is allegedly tied to a turf war between Brazil's two biggest gangs, the PCC and Red Command, over a cocaine export corridor through Bolivia. The PCC is Brazil’s largest and most powerful criminal organization, with operations in more than 20 countries.
