The work we do from now until Election Day is crucial. This is how the election has changed and why we need to take action NOW:

A Spike in Voting from Home: An estimated 80 million mail-in ballots will be returned this year -- more than double the number returned in 2016.

A Drop in Voter Registrations: Voter mobilization organizations that registered 2,000 voters a week before the pandemic have seen registrations drop to roughly 100 a week.

Democrats Are More Likely to Vote by Mail: Roughly 48% of Joe Biden supporters said they would vote from home. Only 23% of Trump supporters said they would vote from home. Mail-in voting complications could disproportionately affect Democratic turnout.

Mail Delays: The Postal Service warned 46 states that voters could be disenfranchised by delayed mail-in ballots not arriving in time to be counted.
