As a fifth-generation Washingtonian, I've seen people underestimate this city my entire life.
They've underestimated our neighborhoods.
They've underestimated our resilience.
And they've underestimated what happens when Washingtonians decide to organize.
I've watched neighbors come together after tragedies. I've seen communities fight for schools, for safer streets, for affordable housing, and for one another. That's the spirit that shaped me.
Now I think we have an opportunity to bring that same spirit to this moment.
There are a handful of House districts in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and across our region that will decide who controls the House of Representatives next year. The margins in those races will be small and the stakes couldn't be bigger.
So we're putting our volunteers, our energy, and our organizing behind the broader fight to build a Democratic majority.
Because if we want Congress to protect D.C.'s autonomy, defend our democracy, and invest in working families, we have to help elect the people who will cast those votes. Will you help us get started with a contribution today? [[link removed]?]

This has never been about one person or one election.
It's about building the kind of movement that lasts.
Thank you,
