Wiliam Gheen of ALIPAC Blocked By Facebook for Posting Viral Picture from News Articles

For National Release | September 3, 2020

William Gheen, the national spokesman for Americans for Legal Immigration PAC, has been blocked from posting on the organization's main Facebook account, which controls pages with more than 600,000 followers, for 24 hours over a post made several weeks ago of a picture found in news articles around the nation and world of a BLM supporter abusing a white child.

The post Facebook took issue with as "inappropriate content" was made to the group's new Stop Anti-White Racism ([link removed][UNIQID]) page which is growing rapidly.

This is the picture that Facebook took issue with despite the fact it had been up for weeks, had been shared by thousands of people, and was widely reported in the media as a "viral picture."

Facebook says that further pictures of violence will result in longer suspensions for William Gheen.

This is the second time Facebook has taken issue with William Gheen's content after trying to suppress information about the likely BLM-inspired murder of 5-year-old Cannon Hinnant in North Carolina, and the media blackout by CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC, Huffington Post, and The Washington Post that existed until 24 hours after Gheen's meme about the censorship went viral on Facebook ([link removed][UNIQID]) .

"Facebook is going too far with their efforts to control the outcome of the 2020 elections, which are quickly becoming a referendum on BLM, the riots and looting, and the Democrats who run the media and social media fueling the abuse seen in this picture," said William Gheen of ALIPAC. "It is imperative to the national debate and our elections for people to see pictures like these and have access to the corresponding news reports about crimes being committed by people who are being inspired by the false and defamatory narratives supported by the media. Facebook clearly wants to sweep this image under the rug because it hurts their Democratic Party allies in BLM and ANTIFA."

Facebook also blocked ALIPAC from running this ad about the election today claiming it violates their policies.
