Mary Gay reached out earlier about what comes next when Democrats take back the House. I’ve included her message below for you to take a look at.
She outlined Democrats’ plans to hold Donald Trump accountable, protect our democracy, and lower costs for working families from Day One of the new majority. But to make these plans a reality, we have to take back the House first.
As her campaign manager, it’s my job to make sure we have the resources to do that. That’s why we’re working hard to raise an additional $15,000 this week for our Take Back the House Fund — and as I write this, we still need $11,209 to reach that goal. Can you chip in $25 right now to help close the gap?

Last week, my team and I reached out to keep you posted on the work we’re doing to protect your votes here in SEPA. It’s vitally important that we work together to make sure every eligible voter can cast a ballot.
Today, I want to talk about what comes next and how your ongoing support of our work will help us get there.
What happens when Democrats take back the House?
On Day One, a Democratic House can begin the work Republicans have refused to do: stand up to Donald Trump, protect our democracy, and get back to the work of lowering costs for working families.
It means real oversight and accountability when Donald Trump abuses the power of his office. It means defending the institutions that protect our democracy and the freedoms our Constitution provides. And it means using our majority to actually make life more affordable for the people we represent.
That responsibility is one I take very seriously.

And right now, we have an opportunity to make sure we're ready.
My team has set a goal to raise an additional $15,000 this week for our Take Back the House Fund to help elect the Democratic majority we need to do this work.

Lowering Costs for Working Families
We can take on corporate price fixing with my Competitive Prices Act, protect Social Security benefits for seniors and people with disabilities through my SSI Savings and Efficiency Act, and protect our hospitals from private equity with my Take Back Our Hospitals Act.

Holding the Trump Administration Accountable
We need a Democratic majority to conduct real oversight of this administration. Taxpayer funds are being directed to shady ICE detention facilities while the administration works to keep Congress and the American people in the dark about what’s happening inside. A Democratic House can demand answers, investigate abuses, and make sure the administration is accountable for how it uses our tax dollars.

Protecting our Democracy and the Rule of Law
We can pass my No Free Passes for Cronies Act to ensure politically connected criminals are held accountable and my No Special Immunity for Violating Our State Laws Act to ensure rogue federal agents can be prosecuted when they violate state law.

But first, we have to win. We have a real chance to take back the House, and that path to victory goes right through SEPA. I’m asking you to help us seize it now.
