Eight years ago this week, I wrote six tweets that sparked a firestorm.
The establishment called me everything from xenophobe to bigot. Conservative colleagues distanced themselves. The media piled on.
All because I dared to question Trudeau's sacred slogan: ‟Diversityis our strength.”
Let me remind you what I actually said that Sunday night:
‟Trudeau's extreme multiculturalism and cult of diversity will divide us into little tribes that have less and less in common, apart from their dependence on government in Ottawa.”
‟Having people live among us who reject basic Western values such as freedom, equality, tolerance and openness doesn't make us strong.”
‟People who refuse to integrate into our society and want to live apart in their ghetto don't make our society strong.”
‟Cultural balkanisation brings distrust, social conflict, and potentially violence, as we are seeing everywhere.”
‟It's time we reverse this trend before the situation gets worse. More diversity will not be our strength, it will destroy what has made us such a great country.”
I was called a fearmonger. I was told I didn't understand what made Canada great.
Well, look around you today.
– Look at the ethnic enclaves where integration has failed.
– Look at the imported conflicts playing out on our streets.
– Look at the polls showing Canadians increasingly believe mass immigration and multiculturalism are destroying our social fabric.
The critics said my warnings were ‟ill-advised.” They said I was out of touch.
Eight years later, who was right?
The diversity of values does not enrich us.
The diversity that rejects Western civilization, that refuses to integrate, or that replaces a common national identity with competing tribes is not strength. That is fragmentation.
Justin Trudeau's vision of Canada as a ‟post-national state” with ‟no core identity” was always a recipe for division. We are now living with the consequences.
But here is the good news: We can still reverse this trend.
THE PPC IS THE ONLY PARTY THAT WILL:
✅ ABOLISH THE MULTICULTURALISM ACT – No more government funding for multiculturalism.
✅ STOP MASS IMMIGRATION – With a moratorium on all forms of immigration for as many years as necessary until the negative economic impact of mass immigration has been neutralized, and the process of social and cultural disintegration has been reversed.
✅ ABOLISH THE TEMPORARY FOREIGN WORKERS PROGRAM – Except for seasonal agricultural work.
✅ DRASTICALLY LOWER THE NUMBER OF INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS – And eliminate work permits for them, except for academic work on campus. Stop issuing student visas to Indian citizens.
✅ START MASS DEPORTATION – For temporary foreign workers, international students, asylum seekers, and visitors who are staying in Canada illegally after their visas have expired, or their applications for permanent residency or refugees status have been rejected; and permanent residents who obtained their status on the basis of false declarations, or who committed crimes.
✅ OFFER REMIGRATION – For naturalized immigrants whose culture is not compatible with ours and who don't want to integrate, we will offer financial incentives to encourage them to return to their country of origin voluntarily.
I was right then. I am right now. And history has proven it.
But being right isn't enough.
We are fighting a two-front war against the radical Left AND the weak-kneed Conservatives who have abandoned Canadians.
