Environmental Champion,

Breaking news: Governor Inslee, the greenest governor in the nation, just endorsed Ingrid Anderson because she shares his "sense of urgency" on passing a clean fuel standard and building "a clean energy economy here in Washington State."

Ingrid Anderson is running for State Senate in East King County in the 5th Legislative District because her current Senator isn't standing up to the special interests and she needs your help. [[link removed]]

As a nurse, Ingrid fights every day for the health of our communities and we know she will continue this fight for all Washingtonians if elected. She understands that to foster healthy communities we need leaders fighting for clean air and clean water. WCV endorsed Ingrid because she supports bold climate legislation like a clean fuel standard, and is passionate about the public health impacts due to climate emissions.

Electing leaders like Ingrid will take a lot of work between now and the November 3rd general election. One of the best ways to ensure she is elected is by volunteering to get out the vote. Less than 500 votes separated Ingrid from her opponent in the primary. We want you to join us next Thursday to phonebank to help elect Ingrid! [[link removed]]

In the face of deep budget cuts and an economic recession, we need leaders who prioritize public health and good jobs for workers and will fight for investments and policies that address climate change, clean up toxic pollution, and restore our forests and shared waters. We need to make our world better for current and future generations.

This is possible in Washington state, where with the right leadership, we can advance ambitious climate action and environmental justice policies. We passed the strongest 100% clean electricity bill in the nation in 2019 and Washington can continue to lay the groundwork in 2020 for state action that prioritizes the health and well-being of all people in our state.

Join us to phonebank for Ingrid Anderson to elect this Environmental Champion! [[link removed]]
