From the beginning of this pandemic, Governor Holcomb has been committed to
ensuring that our schools remainfully funded. It’s critical for our students,
our parents, our teachers and the future of our state.

 

And yesterday morning, the State Board of Education affirmed Governor
Holcomb’s long-standing commitment.

believes that our students must be equipped for the opportunities and 21st
century careers of today and tomorrow.

 

That’s why he’s led the charge with the legislature to invest $1.6 billion in
new funding in K-12 education since 2017, and that’s why 98% of Indiana school
districts reported raises last year for teachers thanks to additional state
funding for school liabilities.

 

Together, we’re making progress, and together, we’ll continue to get Indiana
Back on Track.
