Hey John, it’s Paige. I wanted to share a little about who I am to show you how I plan on reforming Congress the same way I reformed Scranton as mayor.
I started on the Scranton School Board, then worked in the Auditor General’s office digging up waste and fixing nursing home safety.
Then, I ran for mayor as an Independent and became the first female mayor of Scranton while eight months pregnant. I’ve been reelected twice since then, because people here believe in the simple idea that government should work as hard as the people it serves.
As mayor, I cut red tape, balanced budgets, and led Scranton out of 30 years of financial distress. We delivered more than $155 million in grants, helped build thousands of homes, brought in hundreds of new businesses, and made our streets safer. That’s the get-it-done approach I want to bring to Congress.
Meanwhile, Rob Bresnahan campaigned on banning congressional stock trading and then traded hundreds of times in office. He promised to protect our healthcare and voted to strip coverage from thousands. I’m running to end the grift, ban stock trading in Congress, and bring real accountability back to NEPA. Can you chip in $5 to keep our momentum going?

[link removed] [[link removed]]I'm Paige Cognetti. I ran for Mayor of Scranton as an independent to reform a corrupt City Hall. Over the past six years I've lowered costs, cut red tape, invested in public safety, brought in hundreds of new businesses, and created jobs. I'm running for Congress in PA-8 to take on a corrupt Washington, because government should work as hard as the people it serves.
If you're with me, join us by chipping in today. [[link removed]]
