Patriot,

Before I was ever "Senator Collins," I was just a kid from Caribou who
grew up in Aroostook County - about as far north as you can go and
still call it Maine.

Every fall, when the leaves turned and the air got that first bite of
cold, I was out in the fields picking potatoes alongside my neighbors.
