In the article they mentioned, "Students who spent four or more years in the statewide voucher program gained the equivalent of 1.15 years of extra education, compared to similar public-school students, according to a summary of the findings by." WILL has built our reputation on strong, well-vetted reearch making the case for better choices for parents in Wisconsin and across the country. Our peer-reviewed academic research was also highlighted in a op-ed with the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. WILL Beats Back Utility Monopoly in Land Rights Case The Public Service Commission of Wisconsin (PSC) took some action last week regarding the American Transmission Company's (ATC) application to build a transmission line across the Saukville property of WILL clients Tom and Mary Uttech against their wishes. The PSC revoked its previously issued completeness determination, meaning the application process would need to start over. The application was to build high voltage power lines to supply a new AI Data Center being built in the county. WILL has argued that private companies should not be allowed to use the eminent domain power of the state to take private property solely to benefit other private companies. This reset of the regulatory process is a significant win for property rights and regulatory transparency in Wisconsin. We hope to issue a formal announcement later this week.
