Our broken health care system negatively impacts so many parts of our
society, including small businesses.
When health care costs go up, small businesses often pay the price. If
we’re going to change that, we need to highlight how small businesses are
struggling, and how Medicare for All would help them.
That’s why we’re supporting our friends at Healthcare-NOW by collecting
stories on how small businesses are being negatively impacted by our
broken health care system.

Under our current system, health insurance is largely tied to employment.
When federal health care funding is cut and costs skyrocket, small
businesses bear the brunt. Wages stagnate and it becomes harder for
businesses to survive.
While giant corporations can easily absorb higher health care costs, those
same costs represent a major burden to small businesses and make it
difficult for them to compete.
But under a single-payer system, that will be fixed. Health care will no
longer be tied to employment. Instead, health care will be guaranteed to
all, making it easier for small businesses to start and thrive.
If you or somebody you know has firsthand experience with how our broken,
for-profit health care system is impacting a small business, we need to
know about it. [ [link removed] ]Share it with us and our partners here →

we need to pass guaranteed health care for all.
