Hey team,

I recently wrote a book about my family that, for a number of reasons, was not an easy thing to do. My decision, however, was based on the urgency of this moment. I believe we will all look back to this time in our history and wonder if we did everything we could to help our country survive the many dangers now facing it.
What I find encouraging In this time of crisis and uncertainty is the number of people stepping up to become a part of the process to defeat not just Donald but everything he and his party represent. Qasim is one of those people. His willingness to speak out against the hate, incompetence, and cruelty gives me hope. In order to understand how we got here and where we can go, it is necessary to understand where we’ve come from.
