Responsible government doesn't need to be complicated.



This morning I asked Governor Pritzker to revise his COVID-19 mitigation plan by stopping the use of the "positivity rate" as triggering mechanism for business restrictions.



The reason is simple.? If our government is going to destroy people's livelihoods, it should be making that decision based on a metric that is both meaningful and reliable.? The COVID-19 positivity rate has neither of those qualities.
