As we enter the back to school season, we are surrounded by change and uncertainty. While many students have returned to classrooms that are transformed by masks and social distancing, others are navigating the transition to virtual learning, separated from friends and teachers.

Join us for a conversation with psychoanalyst, parent coach and author, Erica Komisar, who will address parent questions and suggest strategies on how to create a healthy learning environment for our kids in the time of Covid 19.

The Parent Rally is taking place now on Facebook and seeks to capture the challenges of parents and their views, and especially what they want and need now. Here’s how:

The Parent Rally is hosted on the CER Facebook page, to empower parents to voice their concerns about the decisions being made in school reopenings.
Each week we will offer a prompt on our page for parents to complete, such as this week’s prompt “If I had the money the school district has to help educate my child, I would take it and [blank].” Parents can share comments about how their family’s education is being impacted.
To show our gratitude, we will be giving away a new Macbook each week to ONE of the parents who shares their thoughts on education.
Really meaningful, new and insightful experiences will be the basis for a CER-produced documentary on “Parent Voices in the Pandemic.”
