BREAKING NEWS! Bold progressive Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan just won the Democratic primary for U.S. Senate in Minnesota!
Just one week after Abdul El-Sayed's massive victory in Michigan, Peggy's win is more proof that Democrats can overcome millions from crypto, AI, AIPAC, and Big Pharma by being a credible fighter for working families. PCCC members were proud to support her, fighting alongside Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders!
With this victory, our slate to take back the Senate with 5 incredible economic populist fighters is set!
Here's our slate to TAKE BACK THE SENATE!
Peggy Flanagan (MN) grew up on Section 8 and SNAP and would be the first Native American woman ever elected to the United States Senate. Peggy campaigned on Medicare for All, taxing billionaires and big corporations, and the idea that one good job should be enough to pay your bills – and she did it without taking corporate PAC money. She has credibility with voters because she's already delivered paid family and medical leave, free school meals, lower prescription drug costs, and historic investments in affordable housing. She faces Republican Michele Tafoya, a celebrity broadcaster recruited and bankrolled by national Republicans. Help Peggy win here.
Abdul El-Sayed (MI) just defeated nearly $70 million in AIPAC and corporate money on a promise to "get money out of politics, put money in your pocket, and pass Medicare for All." Abdul is a doctor with unique credibility on health care issues, having served as Detroit's Health Director and other national and local positions. A win in swing-state Michigan in November would prove shake-up-the-system economic fighters can win purple states, resetting the 2028 presidential race. Abdul faces status quo Trump-endorsed Mike Rogers, who AIPAC has already vowed to bankroll after losing to Abdul in the primary. Help Abdul win here.
Troy Jackson (ME) is a working-class 5th-generation logger fighting to shake up a political system rigged for corporations and billionaires. He built a 22-year record of public service, including as Maine Senate President. He is already polling slightly ahead of Republican Susan Collins, a lifelong establishment politician who does the bidding of Trump and Trump's billionaire donors. Collins was the deciding vote who put Brett Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court where he overturned Roe v. Wade. Help Troy win here.
James Talarico (TX) is a 4th term state legislator, seminarian, and former public school teacher who tells packed arenas the real fight isn't left versus right, it's working people versus the corporations and billionaires rigging the system against them. He is in a dead heat with Republican Ken Paxton, who was impeached by his own party for corruption, in a seat Democrats could flip for the first time in 40 years. He could flip Texas! Help James win here.
Dan Osborn (NE) is an industrial mechanic, Navy veteran, and union leader who outperformed Kamala Harris by 14 points in this deep red state last cycle. Dan led a successful 77-day strike against Kellogg's and is campaigning on empowering workers, reducing billionaire influence, and lowering health care costs. He's running as an Independent (Democrats are fielding no candidate) against Republican Pete Ricketts, a Trump-supported billionaire who (as governor) stonewalled the Medicaid expansion Nebraska voters had already approved, forcing 90,000 people to wait nearly two years for health coverage. Help Dan win here.
