I’ll be honest with you… I’m not great at asking for money. It’s the part of
this job I hate the most.


I didn’t spend my twenties learning how to fundraise to run for office. I
spent them flying H-46 helicopters for the Navy and deploying to the Persian
Gulf.


And when I came home, I didn’t become a lobbyist who took clients out to
expensive dinners. I used my GI Bill to become a Geriatric Nurse Practitioner.
My "networking" was holding the hands of our seniors and listening to their
stories, not cutting backroom deals.


That’s really who I am…a Helicopter Pilot…a Nurse Practitioner… and a Mom
trying to raise four happy and healthy kids in a world that feels like it’s
going in the wrong direction most days.


I didn't run for Congress for the title. I ran because I looked at the country
my children were inheriting, and I felt sick to my stomach. I couldn't just sit
there.

But here is the hard truth: fighting the radical Left and standing up for our
values is incredibly expensive. I don’t have a massive machine behind me. I
don’t have someone who can write blank checks on a whim.


I just have normal folks like you.
