First things first: We're in the final few months to recruit candidates in Texas, where Democrats can win the state house if we flip nine seats. In true Run for Something fashion, we're recruiting as many kick-ass young people as we can get to say they'll give it a shot, but that means we need all hands on deck to talk to these future candidates.
The deadline is December 9th, and that's coming up faster than you'd think. Chip in $5 right now or say you'll volunteer this fall.
The GOP-controlled Texas state house has chosen over and over again not to deal with gun violence. And if they win in 2020, they'll get to draw district lines that will keep Texas red for the next decade.
