This is Seth Bodnar. I'm running for United States Senate in Montana as an Independent.

Lask week, a Republican Super PAC blasted out a mass text attacking me — and they included my personal cell phone number in it and urged thousands of people to call me directly.

Publishing a candidate's personal phone number to a mass list is an invitation for harassment against myself, my wife, and my children. Everyone who signed off on this knew exactly what they were doing, and quite frankly, they should be ashamed of themselves.

We can and must disagree on how best to serve Montana. We can campaign hard. We can make our case to voters. But we don't have to abandon basic decency to do it.

Montanans deserve better than this.

Can I count on you to help me fight back against these disgraceful tactics by splitting a donation between my campaign and Brian's today? [ [link removed] ]

The fact of the matter, friend, is that this is a clear tell that we’ve got Kurt Alme and his allies running scared of our campaign.

You don't publish a man's personal phone number when you're winning. You don't send a Super PAC to do your dirty work when your candidate can make his own case. This is what a campaign does when it's afraid.

Kurt Alme was handed this seat eight minutes before the filing deadline. He's got Trump, Daines, Sheehy, Gianforte, and a million-dollar PAC handling his campaign expenses. He believes this Senate seat should be handed to him, but that’s not how we do things in Montana.

I can tell you one thing about me: I’ll never employ such slimy tactics against Alme’s campaign. I don’t need to, because I’ll beat him on the merits that I’m better prepared to fight for working Montanans than he is.
