I don’t like getting this personal over email, but I have to share this story about my past with you.

My father was tortured and in a Cuban prison.

He fled Fidel Castro's Cuba with nothing — no resources, no possessions, just the shirt on his back and the belief that somewhere, freedom still existed. He found it here in America, in Texas.

I grew up learning about what communism actually does. Not the sanitized version some politicians sell you today — the real version. Bread lines. Secret police. Neighbors turning in neighbors. A government that decides what you're allowed to think, say, and own.

That's not ancient history. That's the future the radical left is selling right now.

Look at what happened in New York City. A Democrat socialist — a man who openly admires the same ideology that jailed my father — just won the mayor's race on a platform of government control and class warfare. Mamdani and his communist comrades are running in states across this country, with one goal: to transform America into a communist hellhole.

I've spent my career fighting against this evil because I know exactly where it leads. And I need to know you're still standing with me against the communist movement.
