John, did you catch Paige’s interview with Lawrence O’Donnell last night?
Paige went on MS NOW to talk about something NEPA knows all too well: When big companies come in with big promises, local communities are often left holding the bill. First it was coal mines, now it’s data centers. We recently put out one of our first campaign ads on this issue, and voters agree with Paige — the data center issue is not a partisan problem. It is a vehicle for people to come together and fight together. That matters, because we’ve seen what happens when outside interests treat NEPA like a resource to exploit instead of a community to invest in. Our coal and shale powered this country for generations. We know the cost when companies take and take, then leave residents to deal with the mess. Rob Bresnahan, on the other hand, is putting his pockets before his constituents. He traded AI stock while pushing for these centers in our district. NEPA deserves better. Political experts are calling this seat a toss-up and polls show us in a statistical tie. We have a real opportunity to flip this seat blue and give the people a Congressperson that fights for them.
