In the short time since the Supreme Court took a sledgehammer to the VRA, state legislatures across the South have launched an all-out attack on voting rights.

Southern states from Tennessee to Alabama have rushed to erase majority-Black districts, pushing biased maps just in time for the midterms. The Virginia Supreme Court is refusing to enforce a new, fair map in spite of voters’ wishes.

Gutting the Voting Rights Act is evil, and the GOP is absolutely committed to silencing Black voices.

But here's what Trump and Republicans forget with this attack on voting rights: Our fractured communities will come together and fight for our democracy by organizing, raising our voices, and standing with Democrats who will take a stand against Trump's authoritarianism.
