Herbert, over the weekend, Senate Republicans confirmed Todd Blanche, Trump’s personal lawyer, as our next Attorney General.

Todd Blanche won this confirmation in the dead of night because a few Republican hold-outs in the Senate were swayed by a bogus deal to end Trump’s $1.8 billion January 6th slush fund.
He’s saying the fund is dead “beyond any doubt.” I call BS.
We know that above all else, Trump values personal loyalty in an AG. And we know that Blanche striking a smoke and mirrors deal to secure his confirmation was just a play to ensure Trump’s personal lawyer has total control over our Justice Department so Trump can continue shirking taxes, profiting off their illegal, no-bid private contracts, and skirting accountability at every turn.
Herbert, Todd Blanche will use the full power of the Justice Department to shield Trump, so we have to have leaders in Congress willing to stand up to the corruption and hold the line for truth and justice.
