I just made a difficult decision. As someone who cares about winning back Florida’s Senate seat, I wanted you to know about it.

My team and I just wrapped up our Monday all-staff meeting where it was clear that if we had a little bit more money, we could do one last push to reach undecided Florida voters before early voting ends this week.

We didn’t have money in the budget yet, but I gave the green light anyway. Here’s why:

The Senate majority will come down to my election in 85 days, and special interests are coming out in full force to protect Trump’s top ally in the Senate. A right-wing billionaire just wired $2.5 million for Ashley Moody’s Super PAC.

We’re entering the final stretch, and reaching even 1,000 more voters today could mean the difference between winning and losing this election. So I made the decision to share our message with more undecided voters, before Moody and her allies dominate the airwaves even more.

I know it was a risky decision. No doubt. But we have to take big risks if we want to win in Florida.

I made this choice because I know how powerful our grassroots movement is. Folks have come through for our campaign when we’ve needed it the most — and now, I’m counting on your support one more time to help close this budget gap.
