Thank you for your strong support in July. We want to be honest with you about
what July looked like from our perspective.



Sabato's Crystal Ball moved 14 races toward Democrats in a single update, but
Texas Senate stayed put. Polling continues to show this race is neck and neck.
One Silicon Valley billionaire wrote a $10 million check to James Talarico's
super PAC. Democrats raised over $1.1 billion nationally in the first six
months of this year alone.



Everything was moving in the wrong direction.



And then the conservative grassroots did what conservatives do.



You showed up. You gave. You proved that this race is not going to be decided
by billionaire checkbooks and coastal money. July was the strongest grassroots
fundraising month of this entire campaign, and it happened in the middle of the
worst national environment Republicans have faced in years.



That is not a small thing. That is the difference between a campaign that can
compete on television through November and one that cannot.
