Hello —
In about a minute or so from now, I’m going to ask you to rush a donation to support my re-election campaign as part of an emergency fundraising drive we need to organize today. Let me explain:
Donald Trump just launched new TV ads across Minnesota — totaling over $14 million! — and we’re hearing he may spend up to $30 million in our state before Election Day.
This comes just a short time after Trump returned to Minnesota to rally his right-wing base, boost my Republican opponent, and personally attack me. Oh, and Mike Pence visited our state just a few days later.
The Trump campaign has been hammering us with cash and resources right after a new poll put me within the margin of error of my opponent in this election. It’s clear Republicans are smelling blood in the water and ramping up the attacks.
All throughout the state, televisions are flooded with Trump’s new ads, Facebook feeds are stuffed with false attacks on Democrats, and it seems like every single day we’re just waiting for Mitch McConnell’s super PAC network to launch a massive negative ad blitz in our race.
That’s why we have to fight back right now. Republicans will not let up until the final vote is cast exactly two months from today. If we don’t have the resources to fight back and respond to every single one of these attacks, we could lose this toss-up race.
I am asking you personally to rush an urgent donation of $10 or more to support my re-election campaign. We're trying to raise $25,000 in grassroots contributions by midnight. Your donation would give us the important boost we need to respond to these new outside attacks.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
The hard truth is that the attacks against me will only get nastier from here. More right-wing groups will pop up and more conservative megadonors will try to buy this election. We can’t let them.
I am in the middle of one of the handful of toss-up races that will decide Senate control. Let’s make sure we’re ready for whatever the other side throws at us!
Thanks for all you do,
— Tina
