Seven Steps to Election Security


1 Call up the SAVE America Act.

2 Announce that we’ll keep debating it for at least a few weeks, working
through weekends and scheduled recess time until it passes.

3 Require filibustering senators to speak, with the understanding that if
they fail to do so the rules allow us to “call the question” and pass it at 51.

4 Stick to the plan—especially when it draws complaints from senators and
becomes tedious—waiting at least a few weeks before even thinking about filing
cloture.

5 This is how the Senate worked before we zombified the filibuster, making it
automatic, silent, and free of obligation.

6 Filibuster abuse has become rampant, insurmountable, and even debilitating
as we’ve stopped requiring filibustering senators to doanything other than
oppose cloture—or even simply announce an intent to oppose cloture!

7 Human nature and over two centuries of Senate history tell us that when
senators are required to engage in hard work and continual speaking to sustain
a filibuster, they tend to wield it more responsibly.


Friend, I don’t think this plan is unorthodox, radical, or too much to ask
for. It’s common sense.




I simply want to secure our elections because I care about and love this
country. I don’t want to lose 250 years of American history just because the
Radical Left ushers in Socialism on the backs of non-citizen voting in November.

But I need your help. I can’t secure our elections all by myself. I need
American-loving Patriots fighting with me.
