Today’s a big milestone, y’all:

We’re now just two months out from Election Day. That means two months until we decide whether Texas will continue to be represented by a senator who consistently sells us out to the highest bidder, from the gun lobby to Big Pharma to the private detention industry.

I’m working to make sure we aren’t -- but I need your help. Pitch in, if you can, to help me defeat Sen. Cornyn two months from now on November 3rd.

At stake in this election is whether Texans will have a senator who fights to get them the help they need to get through the COVID-19 crisis, or a senator who calls expanded unemployment insurance a “mistake.” Whether we have people in power working to get our kids back to school safely, or people throwing their hands up in the air and sending kids back to school despite the risks.

It’s whether we have a senator who fights to repeal the Affordable Care Act, or one who works to expand health care to make sure that everyone can get the care they need. Whether our leaders fight to combat climate change, or leave our children to deal with its consequences.

As a working mom and combat veteran, I’ll fight to do the right thing for families all over Texas. After 18 years in Washington serving special interests and DC bosses like Mitch McConnell, the same can’t be said for Sen. Cornyn.
