Right now, I’m 3 points down in the polls, and the GOP’s attacks are ramping up by the day. That’s because our race here in Ohio will decide Senate control.

I’m running a grassroots campaign, so with experts predicting that this will be the most expensive U.S. Senate race in history, I can’t win without you. If you’re able to chip in $5 or just a few bucks today to power our fight, I’d really appreciate it.

My decision to run for the Senate wasn’t made lightly. 

I love Ohio. I’m biased, of course, but I think we have the greatest, most hardworking people in the world. Throughout my time in public service, I’ve fought to improve the lives of everyday Ohioans and ensure that working folks get their fair share.

I also love this country – and when you love your country, you fight for the people who make it work.

That’s why it’s so upsetting to see how politicians in Washington have turned their backs on working people. Politicians like Jon Husted, my opponent in this race.

Husted says he’s fighting for Ohioans, but instead, he’s catered to his billionaire donors and corporate interest allies from the moment he stepped foot in the U.S. Senate. He’s ripped away health care from working people to fund the largest tax break for billionaires in American history, and he’s failed to take a stand against the Trump administration when Ohioans are being harmed.

I never planned to run for office again after 2024, but seeing all of this chaos, corruption, and self-dealing coming out of Washington, I knew I had to get back in the fight.

And I’m so glad I did.

Ever since launching this campaign, hundreds of thousands of folks like you have joined our grassroots movement for change, and we’re making incredible progress to win this race.

But we’re in for a tough final few months: Republicans are spending $133 million to defeat me and save their Senate majority, and this surge of money is causing a dip in our momentum.

We can fight back, but just as in elections past, I can’t do it alone.

So please – will you chip in what you can to help me flip this seat, retake the Senate, and bring our fight for working people to Washington?
