Good morning.

My name is Adam Kinzinger. You might know me as one of the only Republicans in Congress on the January 6th Committee, and one of 10 Republicans who voted to impeach Trump.

I’ll be straight with you — I’m a proud conservative. But I am going to do what I can to help elect Alex Vindman to the U.S. Senate in Florida this November. Our democracy is more important than parties or politics.

Alex and I are both veterans.

I served this country flying KC-135s and RC-26Bs with multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, and Alex was a 21-year U.S. Army combat veteran who was wounded in Iraq and awarded a Purple Heart.

Both of us took an oath to the Constitution and defended our democracy and fundamental rights with everything we had.

Alex and I may not agree on everything, but I fully trust him to tell the truth, to protect our freedoms, and to work for the best interests of Floridians and all Americans.

But it is going to take all of us doing our part to get him there. And right now, the most important thing you could possibly do to help is making a contribution to his campaign.

So I am asking:

Can you please make a contribution to Alex Vindman's campaign for U.S. Senate in Florida? His average online contribution is around $30. Many give more. Some give less. No amount is too small. It all adds up fast when so many people are chipping in to help elect Alex.

I'll close with this: When I look into my son Christian's eyes, I don't want to feel shame. I don't want to feel regret. I want to feel hope. I want to tell him I played a part in standing up to Donald Trump.
