It is kind of remarkable, even Fox News agrees that Democrats are leading in the race for the House of Representatives. It’s only because of extreme gerrymandering that Republicans are still in the game. 

The polls make it clear: President Trump and the GOP’s policies are deeply unpopular. In an ordinary midterm election, we’d surely be heading for a massive blue wave. But the Republican gerrymanders in states like Texas, North Carolina and Florida have skewed the race for the House majority. 

This is not what democracy is supposed to look like. The will of the people should determine who holds power. And it’s up to us, right now, to ensure that holds true.
