We’re kicking off our Weekly Donor program — an opportunity for our most engaged supporters to double down on their support and give us the strongest possible chance to defend this seat. If that sounds like something you’d be interested in, I’d be honored to have your support! [[link removed]]

If you need more convincing, allow me to pull back the curtain on this campaign and explain why I’m running for reelection — and why your grassroots support is crucial in ensuring our victory here in OR-06.

Change can happen in a generation. I know because it happened to me. [[link removed]]

When my dad was five years old, he immigrated from Mexico to Texas. He picked cotton and tomatoes in the fields of the Rio Grande Valley, all the while dreaming that one day he would work his way out of poverty and make it to the middle class.

My parents taught me the value of hard work. And I grew up believing that if we worked hard, anything was possible.

But when I got to college, I realized my parents didn’t have the money to pay for my tuition and their groceries. So I worked all kinds of odd jobs to put myself through school. It took seven years, but I finished my degree and became the first person in my family to graduate from college.

When my daughter was born, I felt in my core the same determination that drove my parents: there was nothing that would keep me from doing everything in my power to shape a stronger, more equitable future for Amelia and her generation.

I’m in this fight today because nothing will stop me from pursuing a better future for our children — and with this grassroots movement by my side, we’ve been able to make some incredible progress in Congress and in our community. [[link removed]]

But our work is far from over, and the stakes are far too high for us to give up now. So if you believe in the value of hard work, and the goal of a better country for the next generation, then I have to ask: will you become a Weekly Donor and stand with me today? [[link removed]]
