Here’s the truth: Yes, Democrats typically outraise Republicans when it comes to grassroots fundraising and small-dollar donations. For my campaign, we rely on teachers, nurses, firefighters, retirees, students, and working people pitching in $5 or $10 whenever they can.

Republicans? They have another strategy. They lean on billionaire donors, corporate special interests, and super PACs willing to write seven- and eight-figure checks without thinking twice.

When it comes to BIG money — super PACs, special interest groups, million-dollar fundraising dinners — that’s where Republicans thrive.

And right now, they're building an enormous financial advantage.
