Can I be honest with you? 

Most people think Oregon is a safe blue state. That doesn’t apply to my district. 

Oregon’s 5th District is purple — which means it’s a swing seat through and through. In fact, out of all Oregon’s Congressional districts, OR-05 is considered the MOST flippable. 

That’s another way of saying all eyes are on us. 

As National Republicans target key Democrat-held swing seats across the country, our district is bound to grab their attention. We’ve got to be prepared for whatever obstacles they toss our way. 

That’s why I’m writing this email. In 2024, I flipped OR-05 from red to blue by an extremely narrow margin. That win wasn’t luck. It was the result of this grassroots team stepping up when I needed you most. 

And with less than three months until Election Day, I could use that support right now. So I’m humbly asking: Will you chip in $5 to help us defend OR-05 and stop this seat from flipping back to red?
