Friend, a new analysis argues that just 8 Congressional races could decide if Democrats defeat President Trump. And we’ve got some unsurprising news - a full 6 of them are NewDems running for reelection.
The analysis in Newsweek argues that for Joe Biden to win the White House, he’ll have to win in states that President Trump won in 2016. And that means running up the margins in key districts Democrats flipped in 2018.
NewDems were responsible for flipping most of those seats last cycle - 32 of 40 net seats, to be exact. So it’s no surprise that most of the pivotal districts for determining if Biden beats Trump are held by NewDems: Donna Shalala and Debbie Mucarsel-Powell in Florida, Elissa Slotkin and Haley Stevens in Michigan, and Chrissy Houlahan and Susan Wild in Pennsylvania.
