I know what it feels like to grow up thinking the bottom could fall out at any moment.
I was raised by a single mom in St. Louis Park who relied on Section 8 to pay the rent, childcare assistance to go back to school, and food stamps to keep food on the table.
Too many Minnesotans feel that way right now.
That’s why I’ve spent my career fighting to prove that government can be a force for good. We can raise wages, pass paid family and medical leave, and make sure Minnesota’s kiddos don’t go hungry at school. We can wrap our arms around our neighbors and build a state where every family has a real shot to thrive.
I’ve crisscrossed Minnesota listening to voters. I’ve held rallies with Tina Smith, Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren. I’ve debated my opponent.
Now, with just two days remaining, I am turning my full attention to making sure every Minnesotan hears my positive vision for our state and gets out to the polls, before it’s too late.
