Consider where we are now with less than 90 days until Election Day:
- Donald Trump has an Attorney General who once represented him personally.
- That Attorney General has entertained putting ICE officers at polling places.
- Mike Johnson controls the House.
And Cobb is now publicly raising the possibility that even if Americans vote Republicans out of power, Trump and his allies could create another constitutional crisis rather than simply accept the result.
When asked whether Blanche would stand up to Trump if the president demanded bogus evidence of voter fraud after losing politically, Cobb’s answer was two words: “We’re screwed.”
We refuse to accept that.
