Meet Rob:
Born and raised in Kingston, PA, Rob Bresnahan is currently serving his first term as PA-08’s homegrown Congressman. He’s a fifth-generation Northeastern Pennsylvanian, and the only representative in Congress who is part of the National Electrical Contractors Association.
A product of the American Dream, Rob learned the true meaning of hard work by getting his hands dirty early and often. He wired junction boxes, ran heavy equipment, drove trucks, and learned the value of an honest day’s work in the process. His family instilled the values of hard work, discipline, and perseverance in him at a young age – and Rob has stayed true to these foundational values all his life.
At just 19 years old, Rob joined his family’s business as the CFO for Kuharchik Construction. He became the CEO of the company in 2013. Rob spent over a decade working and connecting with blue-collar Americans across the country before running for Congress in 2024. He was outspent 2:1 in his race against a 12-year Democrat that year, but the people of Northeastern Pennsylvania demanded change when they sent Rob to be their fighter in Washington.
Through his experience as an electrical contractor, Rob saw the real world struggles facing America’s blue-collar workers first hand. Wages are not keeping up with the skyrocketing cost of living, and Americans who wake up every day and pay their dues are being left out to dry by their elected officials.
But Rob’s voting record in Congress tells a different story. He’s stood up for hardworking Americans at every opportunity, regardless of partisan politics. Simply put, Rob Bresnahan brings both insight and candid concern for blue-collar America to Congress that your run-of-the-mill representatives don’t.
Every day that he steps foot on Capitol Hill, Rob is 100% devoted to restoring America’s energy independence, deregulating the economy, and bringing well-paying jobs back to the great commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
While he’s still serving his freshman term in Congress, Rob has already introduced key legislation to re-invest in American trades and pave avenues to success for young people who forgo a traditional college education.
Now running for re-election in one of the most pivotal battleground races in the country, Rob is stepping up to the plate once again to deliver for the people of PA-08 and preserve our Republican House majority for the remainder of President Trump’s second term.
