John, I’m sure you’ve heard of Cyclospora by now — the “lettuce parasite” that’s made thousands of Michiganders sick this summer.
RFK Jr., the man in charge of protecting our food supply, went on television and said it was under control — meanwhile, the case count kept climbing, and it took federal investigators weeks to even nail down the source.
I told Kaitlan Collins this week exactly how I feel about that:
|
"I can't wait to sit across from RFK Jr. and actually grill him. Dude uses big words he does not understand, and I happened to go to medical school, so I kind of understand them. It's going to be a good time holding him accountable for all of the grift he has pushed on the American public." |
I meant every word. I'm a guy with a doctorate in medicine and public health. RFK Jr. is a guy who takes his kids swimming in Schitt's Creek — and somehow, he's the one deciding whether your lettuce is safe to eat.
If I'm in the Senate, I will not let RFK Jr. dodge the blame while Michiganders are still getting sick. I'll use every tool a senator has to hold him accountable for the grift.
Mike Rogers would do the opposite. He'd cheer RFK Jr. on and vote to confirm whoever Trump sends up next — no questions asked. That’s the difference in this race, and that’s why I need your help to win in November.
Your friend in the fight,
Abdul
