John: Donald Trump has no shame when it comes to getting his way.
When he stopped his own intelligence chief’s confirmation hearing to force his MAGA colleagues to pass the SAVE Act – he failed.
When he canceled an event to bring down housing costs as an act of protest to force Congress to pass the biggest act of voter suppression in recent memory – he failed again.
And now, Trump is throwing another tantrum by urging his GOP senators to put voter restrictions on millions of Americans for a third time.
If the SAVE Act were to be passed, voters would need proof of citizenship that is not a driver’s license or state ID to vote.
With less than 90 days until Election Day, Democratic Secretaries of State continue to fight back against Trump’s attacks on our democracy. But we know that Trump won’t be done until his MAGA allies bend the knee.
