 | | | | | International Vulture Awareness Day 2025 is four weeks away | It's a chance to explain why vultures matter, why they need our help, and what people can do about it. Even though 5 September is the official date, any activity between August and October can count as part of IVAD. The longer the conversation goes, the further vulture love travels. | | |

1. Organise an event | There is still time to put an event together, whether you are a conservation organisation, a school, a zoo, or just a few people who care about vultures. The IVAD website has event ideas, planning guidance, and ready-made resources like activity sheets. Once your details are set, register your event so more people can find it. |

| | | | At VCF, we are running our own campaign this September, covering something we haven't talked much about before. Keep an eye on our Facebook and Instagram so you don't miss it. | | |

| | Tell a friend, colleague, or family member about the importance of vultures. Share a fact that surprises them, or debunk the myths that have given these birds an unfair reputation. If you need a starting point, the IVAD factsheet has good material, and the social media toolkit has ready-to-post content for your own socials. Thank you for caring about vultures. However you get involved this year, every little action helps. | | |
