Dear friends,
Thank you to everyone who took the time to make calls, send emails, share posts, and reach out to your senators and other leaders over the past few days.
Your voices mattered.
Late last night, the Senate delayed consideration of the Protect College Sports Act until at least September 15, giving supporters of women’s sports more time to work with lawmakers to ensure the bill cannot be used to undermine state laws like Mississippi’s Fairness Act that protect female athletes.
This is not the end of the work before us, but it is an important opportunity to get this right.
I’m deeply grateful to every person who took action—especially on such short notice. Your willingness to engage courteously, thoughtfully, and persistently made a difference.
Now we keep working to ensure any final legislation both reforms college sports AND fully protects fairness, safety, and equal opportunities for women and girls.
Thank you again. Let’s stay engaged and work together to fix the PCSA!
