I have lots of exciting news to share with you today as we kick off September!

First off, we hit our August goal. But that’s a bit of an understatement. Thanks to you, August was our best month of digital fundraising since our campaign launched over one year ago. It’s conventional campaign wisdom that supporters are less engaged in August, but you proved everyone wrong. We all know money is not and should not be the only driver of a campaign, yet having the resources to get messaging to Alaskan undecided voters will be critical to this win.

We now have an even more ambitious September goal as we add new plans for our absentee voter program, and I can’t wait to see what this team accomplishes (want to help us get a head start by pitching in?).

I’m proud that we’re running a grassroots campaign, and that’s the message we’re getting across in our new TV ad that we released this week. We’re showing that lots of Alaskans are ready for change and that I know- both as a candidate and as your next representative- how important it is to solve problems together.
