Hello,
Our politics have devolved to a reality in which too many officials are inclined to stoke partisan flames to preserve their own incumbency. We need leaders who will reach across the aisle to solve problems and do big things together. That’s why we’re proud to be recruiting and supporting servant leaders in politics — candidates who have volunteered to serve our country before and who are in the arena to put the people they represent first.
We’re excited to share their stories, and to help us do that, we just launched a podcast!

In each episode, Dr. Max Klau, Senior Director of Leadership Development, will sit down with one of the remarkable servant leaders in our network to discuss what we like to call “the inner journey.” Follow along as we explore the countless challenges and obstacles these leaders face in their quest to lead with courage and integrity in the toxic space of today's American politics.
You can listen to the first two episodes today, and be sure to subscribe so new episodes will appear in your feed when we release them every two weeks.
Episode one features a conversation with Dan Helmer, a member of the Virginia House of Delegates who graduated from West Point and served tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan before earning a Rhodes Scholarship. He shared his experience transitioning from military service to politics and the ways he was able to ensure he ran his race with integrity.
In the second episode, Max is joined by Matt Tito, a Marine veteran running to represent Florida House District 68. Matt reflected on what it’s been like for him launching a campaign as a political outsider and how he, a Republican, has been able to build bridges in conversations with Democratic voters without compromising his values.
